Pioneering Software Signs with Braintree Payment Solutions - 9 June 2012

Pioneering Software, Inc has signed an agreement with Braintree Payment Solutions to promote the company's payment gateway services. Braintree provides payment gateway, merchant account, and recurring billing services, accepting credit cards from customers via a Transparent Redirect, a technique which makes the transaction appear to originate from the merchant site. The storage of tokens in substitution for credit cards within the Braintree customer vault makes PCI DSS compliance more easily obtainable. A Drupal Ubercart compatible payment gateway module is provided by Pioneering Software which supports the Transparent Redirect, token management, transaction processing, and subscription management. The uc_braintree_tr_payment module is freely available under the GNU Public License. Merchants may now incorporate the module into their Drupal powered website, allowing customers to provide credit card data transparently through the Braintree Payment Solutions online presence.

Linux System Security Analyst

This position requires three years experience administering the Linux operating system. A qualified candidate will have experience writing shell and/or PERL scripts. The candidate should be knowledgeable of SQL query construction and MySQL database administration. Other database management systems such as MS SQL and Oracle are a plus. The candidate should be familiar with network security, including the use of tools such as tcpdump and snort. Analyst should be knowledgeable of security patch implementation.

Drupal Ubercart Braintree Module (FREE)

Pioneering Software, Inc is pleased to present this Drupal 6.x Ubercart compatible payment gateway under the GNU Public License. This module utilizes Braintree's transparent redirection technique to transmit credit card information from the user's browser directly to the Braintree vault. Tokens are substituted for credit card data within the merchant's website to avoid costly audits related to the storage or transmission of credit card information. This module also provides users with the ability to manage payment tokens via the last four card digits, identify and update expired cards, change billing dates, and cancel recurring payments for subscriptions generated via the Braintree Payment Solutions application programming interface. While we are glad to provide this software free of charge, please help support the development and maintenance of this module by informing Braintree Payment Solutions that you are using a module provided by Pioneering Software, Inc.
